  1. I bought Michelins at Costco about a year ago. About twice a year they send out coupon books, and the coupon for the Michelins was $80 off. Four tires were just about $380?, mounted and balanced.

I also did the same for my ('88) Camry and other vehicles I've owned.

I've never had any problems with them, and they last about 70,000 miles.

*Do not buy the cheapest tires you can. Get good tires. They'll last longer, they'll handle better and you might live longer.

*Do not ever buy tires at Walmart or any department store or cheapo auto parts outfit (like Pep Boys).

*$9 road hazard warranty pays for itself the first time you use it - if you use it at the place where you bought the tires.

  2. I would not buy tires from walmart at all, go to discount tires and look at a set of Kumho Power Star 758 and yes to the road hazard warranty and the total price should be around $250.00.....

  3. ok first road hazard is a joke most of the time  a waste of money.. the way you get a good tire is ask about the cheapest tire they have in the size you want and after they tel lyou ask what else you have and that tire will  be the better tire and last longer and that is what you want cheap is not always a good thing and walmarts is not really a good place for tires kind of on the cheap side .. if you call a round they wont be much of price differant maybe 5 bucks and that five bucks can be a lot in the miles you get...  been a tire guy over 25 yrs and still doing it

  4. I would go with BF goodrich from Sam's Club.  First off, if you want to save the 9 bucks per tire, the road hazard is already included at Sam's Club (unless you live in NY).  If you don't have a membership e-mail me and I'll give you tips on how to get around that fee lol.  Secondly, they are the best value for your money, Michelin owns BF Goodrich and they are top line.  Just take my advice and stay away from Goodyear, I used to work there and we got so many returns on those pieces of junk I think we lost money altogether. And remember to save your receipt, put it in your glovebox. If ANYTHING goes wrong with the tires you can go to ANY Sam's Club and they will take care of you...it really is the best place to buy tires. I have BF Goodrich on my 97 Honda Civic (very similar wheels) and they are good for 70,000 miles, I'm guessing you could get all 4 for less than $250.
