Is it a bad idea to tan with your contacts in even if you keep your eyes closed?

I have only had my contacts for 5 days, and I was wondering if I played softball in them if they would get dusty and would they bother me? If so how could I prevent that? I dont want to be in the middle of a game and have to keep messing with them

Last one:

I can never seem to keep my contacts clean. Even if I rinse them in solution, its like I can never get all the fuz or whatever off. How do you keep them clean?

Thank you for your help! =)

  1. I got lasik, thank goodness, highly recommend it.  I wore contacts and played sports with them for 6 years (including baseball).  I know exactly what you are going through. You will get used to them so that you won't have to mess with them, just give it time.  But, you can't keep them clean no matter how hard you try if you are playing softball.  The dust will still get on them and sting your eyes, and they will still get fuzzy. Get the 2 week disposables.  I found it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks for the contacts to become a serious problem, where there is so much dust attached to them that they sting beyond comprehension.  By then, I could replace them with new ones.  If that doesn't work, they have daily disposables and if I remember 3 day disposable contacts.

I have never gone tanning with my contacts in, I would imagine it may dry them out, but ask at a tanning salon,  they should know.

  2. As for tanning I wouldn't recommend it

Softball will be fine, i managed to spend a day at a windy beach in mine lol

To keep them clean try rinsing them in the case using fresh solution rather than in your hand as there is less dirt in there than on your hand.
