  1. I run at least one 13 mile run a week and have ran up to 30 miles one day. I think what you eat varies.

    I like to eat alot the day before I run, I eat alot of whole wheat pasta, marinara, tomoatoes, spinach, bread and all the good stuff that goes with that. I also like to have a couple beers the night before, as long as I drink a couple glasses of water I feel fine the next day. I eat a bannana a bagel with peanut butter and sometimes oatmeal the morning off a long race.

    A Multi Vitamin is really all you should be taking. You could take a protein supplement or fish, chicken or beef to help build muscle but its not necessary, it will jus help you recover faster. I could also recommend Glucosamine for your joints and Advil for the pain.

    You should eat 5 small meals a day its best to eat your last meal be for 7.15 pm.  eat after you run it will help you to build up muscle! don't eat heave meals.  Eat spaghetti and light stuff for dinner! and at least 3 fruits a day and drink at least 8 glasses of watter.
