Questions about driving in AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!?

Question

ok, i live in AUSTRALIA , i know you can drive at 16, but what can you do before then? like you know you can drive with an adult beside you to practise for you test can you do that before 16, or when you turn 16?

And at what age can you get your 'L' plate at, 16?

please give me any other info like the above that i need to know about driving, thanks!!!!

you cant practise with an adult in a car before 16. you  have to get your L plates before you do that. having you L's is practising. there are now alot of different rules coming into place such as a 16 year old L plater now has to do 150 hours worth of driving before they can even try and go for there P's, but then again your have to of had your L plates for a year. you have to fill out a 'log book'every time you practise driving with an adult. you have to fill in the amount of time, where you went and how many kilometers you travelled.
