Questions about football pants/girdle

Question

I have a few questions about the pants and girdle. 1. Are you supposed wear boxers under the girdle? 2. What do I do If I have an integrated girdle with hip, theigh, and tail pads in it already? Do i just put the knee pads in the pants? 3. Do linemen need to wear a cup?

I might add some more ?s later because this is my first year of football and im confused abotu these things.

1)wear like some kind of compression shorts under your girdle, if you dont have those, wear comfortable underwear

2)integrated girdle is the same thing as a girdle, you just put the knee and thigh pads in the girdle instead of the pants, wear something under the girdle. if the girdle goes down to the knee and there is a pocket, then i would put them in, if not then put it inside the pants

3)i do not wear a cup and im play linemen, i prefer not to, cuz they ride up and feel really uncomfortable, all the congestion groin area if you know what i mean. but you can if you want

1) Yes I wear boxers under my girdle. Not the most comfortablest but its ok. I would recommend getting some compression shorts to wear under them.

2)You can wear them? That's what they're for I guess. And we have pants where the knee pads go into them.

3)Im a lineman and I havn't worn a cup for the past two years. The worst thing that's happened to me is I was in a dog pile and someones foot got all up in my groin. That's the worst i've had though. Some people don't like the cup because it gets them a rash or isn't comfortable while they run.
