Questions about going to private school?

I went to regular public schools before, so I was always curious if a boy attends a private school that requires uniforms, wouldn't he be distracted from seeing all those girls in their schoolgirl outfits? Is there still a rule enforced that the hem of a girl's unifrom skirt can't be higher than a few inches above the knee?

When you go to a public school, you see girls in school uniforms as s**y.  I don't understand why, but it's definitely so.  I used to see girls from the local parochial school in their white shirts, plaid pleated skirts, knee-high socks and saddle shoes and for some reason I found this outfit very alluring, even though it was obviously designed to look demure and innocent and even genderless.  School uniforms are even used in porno movies about 'schoolgirls' (though, to their credit, it is not kiddie p**n).

But I went to a private school for a year, actually I did two years in one, and we wore uniforms there.  And in that environment, where ALL the girls wear the same thing, you don't even notice.  I think it's like a nudist camps where after a while you just don't notice that everyone is naked.  In fact when I made friends with girls and visited them outside school in their civvies, I suddenly found them much more attractive!  Go figure.

Usually there is a dress code either so many inches above the knee, or (from the catholic school that was in my home town) standing straight up, with your shoulders down and back (proper posture) the skirt hem may be no higher than your first (pointer) finger tip.

If it has a large range of grades, some schools have one standard for elementary (longer than the knees) and a second standard for the older girls (the finger tip or inches above the knee).

Believe me there is nothing s**y about a school girl's uniform.  There are dress codes in private schools and skirts are required to be a modest length.  When the girls go off-campus they will often roll-up their skirts because we can't stand their modest requirements.

Many girls don't like the skirts and wear sofees underneath. They are soft shorts.  Not s**y.

Private school boys do not find the girls uniforms s**y either.  All they talk about is public school girls!  Girls in public school wear anything!
