  1. 1. yes

    2.NO!!!! absoloutly not!

    3. theyre digestive tracts are very sensitive and they will get sick.

  2. 1.) Use aspen instead of pine, it is better for them, I have heard.

2.) Don't give the guinea pig hamster food, It is full of seeds and it doesn't have the extra vitamin C in it that guinea pigs need.

3.) Guinea pigs can chock on seeds and nuts and I don't think it is all that good for them.

  3. 1. You shouldn't use pine or aspen either. None of the wood shavings are really good for any animals. My sister runs a guinea pig rescue and she uses fleece baby blankets and just washes them in the washing machine once or twice a week.

    2. Guinea pigs won't like the hamster food. They aren't really seed eaters. They prefer fresh lettuce, carrots, green peppers, cilantro and things like that. They also need to eat timothy hay. They also have guinea pig pellets.

    3. I'm not sure why they can't eat the seeds or nuts. It probably has something to do with not being able to digest them properly. I would just feed them what I mentioned above ^^

  4. If it is kiln dried pine and aspen, it is fine but it can still be dusty.

No, hamster food has colored bits, seeds, nuts and no vit c. It's a bad feed.

They can choke on it and its fattening.

  5. 1.I'm not totally sure about the whole bedding thing i recommend using carfresh brand bedding (that's what i use) or sorbent.

2.No you cannot feed your your guinea pig hamster food. so you will actually have to pay. i use LM Animal Farms Vitta Vittles my Guinea Pig LOVES that!

3.guinea pigs cannot have nuts or seeds because they can get stuck in their teeth and if digested can cause health problems.

    HOPE I HELPED !!!!!

  6. 1. Aspen is fine. Pine is okay but I wouldn't recommend it.

    2. No way. Guinea pigs need much more vitamin C in their diet than other rodents. Only their own food will have enough of it in it.

    3. They can eat nuts and seeds but they will make them very fat very quickly so it's not recommended.

    :D
