first:- are voldemort and harry relatives??? i mean voldemorts family had the resurrection stone and harry had the invisibility cloak

2nd:- have you read the fan fic james potter?

3rd:- do you believe james potter can stand upto peoples expectations?

4th:- i know it cannot match harry potter but can it attain the same popularity?

Yes, Harry and Voldemort are very distant relatives. But remember in one of the books it's mentioned that almost all the wizarding families are related somewhere down the line. Just isnt enough blood to go around.
