I had knee surgery on the medial ligament in December. I have been swimming and building the muscles up since and have started playing football again. Is it normal to have twinges and for it to jarr a bit?

Thanks

  1. Yes it is normal for jarring and twinging in the area of surgery for a long time after surgery as the muscle is relearning and reshaping after being repaired. It is good that you are exercising and using your muscle a lot just don't overdo it.

  2. i had similar surgery and even 12years later it still plays up....... but i didnt do my physio and i really regret it big time.
