I would be wanting to go sydney harbour, how much would a normal four bedroomed house be there to buy or rent? Taking a car over, how much would that be? Also, what is there health programme? And how much in payments and things would it be?

This is alot of questions, thanx for reading and if you have any answers please share them :).

Need more information, just tell me.

  2. you will have to qualify to immigrate to australiahttp://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm

a home on sydney harbour will cost the earth

  3. We need nurses in Australia!  I think you'd find getting a visa with your nursing qualification would be quite easy.

Buying a four bedroomed house in Sydney Harbour will set you back a few million dollars at the very least, depending on the area, it is considered prime real estate.  Sydney is quite accessible driving, or with public transport, so you wouldn't have to LIVE in the harbour area to be quite close to it.  To give you an example of pricing - a two bedroom unit in an area of North Sydney, you can see the harbour bridge and walk across it to the city in half an hour - $1700 a month (and upwards from there, depending on the view)

There are many online real estate agents domain.com lists property for Sydney to rent and buy.

Many Australians are in private health cover, quite different to the NHS!  What you pay depends on the level of cover you select, but for basic ambulance, dental, hospital approx $60 a month.  It sounds as though you have a family though, so your costs would differ - you can get family plans.

Go to expedia.co.uk and check out the flights - the best time to book is ten months before you want to leave.  Avoid December and January as that is our long school holidays.  I flew from London to Sydney last August and it cost about £690 (one way, with Singapore Airlines).

I moved from London to Sydney last year - although I'm an Aussie - I loved London - but Sydney is goooorrrgeous!!!!  You will love it here, just save those pounds before you come!

  4. Registered nurses are in so much need here.

Why not go to the EXPO coming up (October) in the UK about how to live and work here.!?

Australia's health programs is called Medicare. See http://medicare.gov.au for more info.
