Question:

Questions about my period?

I woke up this morning and I went to go to the bathroom and when I wiped there was blood. It wasn't too much, but there were a few clots and stuff. I put in a pad but don't really know anything else. I'm really sleepy though. How much blood is supposed to come out and how does it come out, like is it supposed to drip or what?

I would ask my mom but she is at work and my best girlfriend is on vacation. I don't have any sisters, either. Thanks for answering. :)

  1. There really isn't any 'supposed-to-be' amount of blood, because every female is different.  Some have it heavy, some moderate, and of course the light flow females that we're all jealous of.  I guess you can say it drips....it's just going to feel as though you're urinating from time to time, and you just can't help it.  Every hour, especially since it just started, just go to the bathroom and check your pad to see if it needs changing or not, and you'll be fine.  Tiredness is normal during your period, so it's okay to feel sleepy.  And when your mom comes home, ask her about iron tablets, because they help you regain the iron that you're losing from all the blood that you're losing, and that is contributing to your tired feeling.  Good luck =]
