how do u get a background on myspace?

im new only joined last night

To do up your myspace you need to be able to understand HTML coding [which is really lame.. I know]

There are plenty of websites out there to find a layout you like. Go into google and type in Myspace layouts. Most of these sites give you codes and you have to copy these codes into your about me.

There's also another way of making a background.

Go onto edit profile, then in the top right hand corner click Profile Editor. From there it is pretty self explanatory.

Myspace uses codes to make things bold and things too

so say if you wanted to make something bold you write <b>whatever you want bold in here</b>

I'll give you a few simples myspace codes:

<i>italics</i>

<s>stroke</s>

<b>bold</b>

<center>to centre your writing</center>

Now if you want to make a link for your messages and your comment boxes

Make sure when filling that out you veiw your comments in public veiw so that other people can see them

copy and paste these codes I've given you into your about me [apart from the one for the friends and comments which goes in your who I'd like to meet]

google "myspace layouts", and pick out the one you like, copy the code, and paste it in the "about me" section. Just click around and you should be good to go!

i really like http://myspaceoryours.net/  they have some really nice backgrounds! so when you pick your background they are going to give you a code. copy the code then go to edit profile and paste the code in your "about me section" then hit save. good luck and myspace is soooo addicting!!!
