Questions about nose piercing?

Question

ok, so i decided to get my nose pierced and i got some good advice before i get it.. but i was wondering some things..

1. do they use guns ever for it? or is it always with a needle?

2. when they stick the needle in.. do they have to mess around with it or does it go straight through?

3. a friend told me putting the stud in hurts more then the needle going through, is that true?

4. is there any way to numb my nose before i get it done? i dont handle pain well, lol. xD

1. Go to an actual piercing shop, and they use needles.

2. it goes straight through in the snap of a finger.

3. it will hurt for awhile after you first get it done, it will be sore more than anything tho.

4. Not really. Its over pretty quickly. you can take something like tylenol and see if that will help afterwards.

Hi.

I had my nose done about a year ago, but i had mine done with a gun.

That didnt hurt at all, just made me jump and my eyes water.

It sorta stings for a couple of days after.

And wear a plaster on it when you go to bed, or it gets push out.

I quite frequently have to repeirce it because my studs fell out, so i have a really bendy one now.

The say not to change it for along time, but if you have it done with a gun it a earing like when you get your ears peirced so its really big, so i changed mine within 2 days because i had school and it stood out a bit too much, but make sure you clean and steralise the stud you change it to before you do that. or you get a gammy nose,!

its easyer to put the nose stud in when the stud is warm, just after you got it done, btw.

Ok here it goes:

1.) They cant use a gun because its too big for the nose so they have to use a needle. its ok though. when you get it pierced the only thing that really happens is that your eyes water. but its kinda like a little bee sting. not bad.

2.) and when they put the needle in , yes it goes straight in. no messing around.

4.) just ice , and if you want to go to your dentist and see if he can give you some novacaine you can, but I really suggest you not do that.

But hey thats whats great about getting piercings. is the expierence. if you cant feel pain then its not the same.

I was proud when I got all my piercings. I knew that I was brave enough. And I choose to take the risk.

my friend got it done with a gun it was red around her nose for a while and they froze it before they did it.
