okay so I want to become a magazine editor for a fashion magazine, or any job in magazine editorial. what should I be taking my last year in high school and what should I take at college? And should I switch to university after that? I live in Canada, but should I take classes at a college/university in New York(thats where all the big fashion magazines are). Do I need to get really good grades in high school(3-4 point average), and do I need to take Math 12? Thanks!

  1. u need to write good good very good english. then u need to have at least a bachelor's degree and preferably in english literature / language or journalism.  then u may hv modules in fashion design or anything related to the fashion scene / fashion scape! u shld  be prepared to start small - do menial chores for the chief editor, do reporting work on insignificant stuff.  dont  fret, dont groan, smile, do it without complaints - so the big boss will see u hv tenacity and +ve attitude.  then u will start climbing upwards.

welcome to the real world.   goodluck
