Questions about rental cars!!!?

I was wonder about renting a car, we will be going throught Alamo do you know if they do credit checks? No credit card will i still be able to rent?Anyone rented from Alamo or from Sanford international Airport, not Orlando International Airport.Please help me we are trying to find the easiest way to rent. we have a debit/check card will that work?

I have never used Alamo but I have rented from Enterprise.  A debit/check card works with Enterprise.  I would ask them as well.  Oh I have used budget as well and its a debit card there too.  I think as long as it has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it you will be ok

you will need a credit card or else they do not rent

You can rent with a debit card... just make sure that you have $500 in your checking account, as that's what they 'charge' your card in collateral. Once the car is returned in good condition, the $500 is released from your account.
