1. Instead of everyone having to become green and sacrifice time, money and things they like to stop global warming is it not possible to put something into the sky that soaks up carbon dioxide?

2. Instead of filling up landfill sites, could we not collect all the rubbish, put it in a space ship and send it into space- we'd never produce enough to pollute the whole of space and it would be gone forever.

  1. well i like this idea maybe you should try talking a scientist into the idea well if we pollute space then think of it there maybe other lifeforms out there so they may try doing something with it you never know

  2. Ok, here's what's on Offer:

We are Technological so advanced that we can put this plan into reality in Fact Immediatly.

    All we need is Volunteers.

    1) Stop burning Fossile Fuels in fact Immediatly

    2) All Energy will be made from Water

    3) Foodproduction Everywhere in the World will be Organic

    4) We overproduce Organic Food so all Food will be Free

    5) A Global Ban on Weapons (starting with WMA)

    6) 3 months Holiday each year

    7) We use Solar powered pumps to pump Seawater into the desserts. There we let it sink and evaporate. This raises the Groundwater levels and initiates the broken Water Cicle.

    8) We regrow the Forest

    9) We regrow the Desserts

    10) We teach everyone to be self sustainable

    11) We make everyhing out of Hemp

    12) We eliminate money

    How does that sound?

Would you be prepared to life in a peaceful Organic Society?

  3. Save our planet? The planet is fine.

What kind of garbage are they teaching you kids these days?

  4. It is very difficult to grow plants in space, especially without soil or water. Plants are the saviors of our earth as far as human life is concerned. Put a couple of live plants in your home and you will breath easier. Landfills feed a lot of birds and who knows how many rodents, stray cats and dogs, earthworms, etc. It doesn't take all that long to turn a landfill into usable soil.

  5. 1. they could actually create a machine that uses carbon as fuel... but they think if they do that then there would be no diversion if the government's in problem.

    2. Think of the gasoline used to do such thing! Production of gasoline also creates pollution; not counting the smoke of the craft as it blows out and back in!

  6. Ever seen Futurama? They did the rocket idea in series 1 episode 8...  A Big Piece Of Garbage... and it didn't work. Funny tho :)

  7. it cost millions of dollars per ton to launch into space...you would not like the 100,000 dollar a month trash pickup bill...modern landfills are non polluting...capped on top and bottom...and we are NOT running out of space...what is happening is no one wants a landfill near them and the "green" regulations are tough so it doesnt pay to build them...

  8. My suggestion would be to built a satellite that could orbit inside the atmosphere that would work like a photosynthesizing plant, soaking up co2 and turning it into 02 that would be really helpful to have technology like that I believe its something scientists are working on now. Hope This Helps!

  9. its too late to save the planet I'm afraid is it already warming faster than we think haven't heard of gobal warming its already happening

  10. These are very interesting ideas. You know, personally I think they should do that spaceship idea. And one more thing: they should plant more trees. But I can't undertsand, is there a machine which soaks up carbon-di-oxide?

  11. I am sure scientists have thought that through... Im guessing it will cost way too much to do that considering the great amount of garbage the average american makes a day...

Even if it meant saving our planet, business owners are not willing to fork out that large amount of money to do that.

But it is a great idea...

Maybe we could call Captain Planet...

  12. Your ideas are interesting-but it would be hard for the lousy "responsible" people to take this step!

  13. pollute the other planets be for we get there. great idea

  14. Vegetation is very good at soaking up carbon dioxide.  In fact during times of high carbon dioxide on Earth plant life thrives.  If the carbon dioxide levels stay high enough, long enough it is possible that the Sahara Desert could once again grow vegetation and trees.

Placing things in landfills is the best recycling effort we can undertake, it works much like a compost site in the corner of your yard only on a larger scale.  Just think, 250,000 years from now it won't be a landfill it will be a very good source of fertilizer.

The ice age cometh...there is no global warming...it is a myth some politicians have thought up to make a lot of money for their cronies.

Study the climatology of Earth, look at the data on sunspots, carbon release from the oceans, worldwide temperature reductions since 2000, the Maunder minimum and other datas and you will see a different view of Earth's true future.
