  1. 1) stem cell research.  Think about a person who lost an organ, or nerve damage in brain or muscles, or heart, etc.  WITHOUT organ donation, growing of stem cells is able to impletment it into the person body and allow it to recover. isn't it great?.

    2) normally ethical group oppose this.  stem cells is about the same as organ farming or other purpose.  imagine, when we had stem cells, e.g. bone marrow.  We are able to produce blood in the lab.  we might not need anymore supply from the blood bank.   But here comes the complications.  If you are religion, "is it something that we go against the way god make us, or is it we trying to play god by producing our own blood?"

    3) Future applications.  A lot. blood productions? Parkinson's diseases.  Muscles or nerve recover.  Even AIDS. (if we are able to produce T-cell continously from stem cells).  You gonna get a nobel prize for this.

  2. Hi!  Stem cell research is wonderful when it is done correctly.  I am Catholic and the church has done very extensive research on its own. There has never been a human helped by stem cells from an embryo. When an embryonic stem cell is used it causes a tumor in the person.   Sometimes the tumor has hair, teeth or other parts of a baby human inside of it.  It never works.  Human stem cells from ones own body (or another person's) can be cleaned , purified and treated to heal people.  In Brazil, a doctor has already completely cured diabetics with this procedure and also cured a quadrapedic. People don't understand that the church is against embryos being killed for research when they know it doesn't work.  We feel the money and research should be focused on human stem cell research.  The politicians won't separate the two.  We feel an embryo is the human beginning of life and that every human life is important and has a plan and a meaning for its existence.  Why abuse moneys and time and waste a potential human being's life for something that has proven to be a failure?  I feel that we should learn to respect life, no matter how tiny the being is.  Also, I feel our scientists should spend their valuable time working with proven cures like learning from the doctors in Brazil and others that have actually had exciting positive results.  See Ya!
