Questions about the MetroLink in Southern California?

I was just wondering if the Metrolink was safe for a girl to ride by herself? I only moved to SoCal a little while ago, and I need to get to Burbank. I have a car....but gas is expensive and I'm in the mood for an adventure. Should I bring my husband with me for protection, or is it safe to ride alone?

I'll be travelling around 10am on Monday.

yes its safe

you could find the conductor cars (which is either the first car or last car on the train) and your ride is pretty short 18 minutes

why would you think metrolink isn't safe in the first place?

Metrolink has several trips to Burbank

(note if you destination is closer to Burbank airport

and have a metrolink ticket you *could* take Amtrak as

well as metrolink  for this routing

(yes Amtrak honors metrolink tickets between Los Angeles

and Burbank airport
