Questions about the book, THE NOTEBOOK by NICHOLAS SPARKS?

if you haven't read the book or seen the movie, please don't read this question, because it contains SPOILERS :x !

in the book: at the end allie remembered it was noah, and she started to unbutton his shirt, did her disease go away? or was it just for that moment...

in the movie: did allie & noah die?

btw, both the movie and the book brought me to tears, it was wonderful.

People with Alzheimer's can have times that they do remember things from the past and present.  So she did remember for a short time.  Allie and Noah do die at the end.  

This is probably my favorite book to read and movie to watch.  I cry every single time I read the book and watch the movie.  That has been numerous times.  And I still cry.  

I think that I would hope my husband would do the same for me if I got Alzheimer's disease.  I know I would do the same for him if he did. =)

No her disease didnt go away, she just came out of it for the moment.

Yes both Allie and Noah died.

I love that movie, and it makes me cry every time i watch it too, its such a good movie!

I'm not sure about the book question, but yes, in the movie they died.

And I cried at both, too :)
