  1. Did you really read the book?  I bet you didn't.

  2. It doesn't sound like someone read the book :D

The second one about the executions though, is it sends the message to the animals that if they aren't loyal to their leader (Napoleon) then they will die. If they stay loyal, and tell the truth, then they'll be fine.

  3. watch the movie.

    its more visually understanding.

  4. i had to read this for summer school...

anyways, by killing the animals, it shows what would happen if one does not listen to Naploleon,

  5. What a brilliant book... I love orwell.

First, he had the pigs live in the house. He built the windmill. And he started killing those who disagree with him. Decision making became less democratic, and Napolean became a dictator-like figure. The executions took place to suppress any uprisings that could usurp Napoleons power. This sent the message to the animals that they were just that-animals.

  6. umm..just wondering, is that a good book?

  7. having others killed. showing that the other guy was "bad" thats all i know

  8. I have not read the book, but here are a couple of links that may help you.

  11. I'm not sure about the first question, I haven't read this in two years.

Executions are a sign of power for the lead pig. He destroys all who are inneffective or question his power.

This book was based on Russian communism, "good in theory, terrible in practice."

The main characters are based on real communist founders (Marx=Old Major, Trotsky=Snowball, Stalin=Napolean)

    Hope this helps.

  12. *he gets rid of snowball, making him sole leader, he trains the dogs to follow him around like an entourage, and he sleeps in the house with the other pigs. napoleon makes the decisions single handedly, not consulting the other animals

*napoleon tricked the animals in believing that they worked for snowball and were killed to prove the point to always listen to napoleon or u will die. they will live under a dictatorship, not being free
