As the world moves forward in the new millennium, does the problem of race still exist?

Did racism and racial injustice end with the civil rights movement?

Have ethnic minorities living in the United States today achieved equality, or is there still work to be done?

  1. Have you been watching the news?!?!  Racism is alive and kicking! It seems to me though that it is VERY different from the civil rights movement of MLK Jr's time.

    Many things have changed...much has been achieved. But not as much as could change, as could be achieved. I believe this is because we have lost site of what the goal really is. If you are fighting for a cause, but aren't sure what exactly the cause is, we cannot effectively communicate it.

    ANYWAY!!! I have gone on and on...
