Questions about the game of pool.?

What is the proper etiquette at a pool hall? It seems every time my girlfriends and I go out to shoot pool, some ****** guys streamline their way right to our table and try to hustle us. I know that is how you play technically, but why is it taken so seriously? Why cant we just go out and play, have a girls night out? By the way, this is a small bar, NOT a pool hall, they have 7 pool tables. Is it ok to just line the row up with quarters on your table? Someone please explain all this to me, it is so annoying!!!

Yo Yo Laura you know what? Sound like you just went into some guys play ground and did some kiddy stuff like lining coins and got jostled around without knowing what's happening..

Cutie, this ain't place for girls night out and talk about girly stuff like that, is guy domain, if you're new, you pay some respect to the old dogs that's hard ramming balls. Don't go running around giggling and ruin big time, money is at stake, big daddy's  face is on table. You probably don't under stand cutie... just try to blend in girl. Blend in.

Technically, they do have the right to challenge you for the table.  I know it can be a pain when you just want to play with your friends.  Are all seven tables occupied when this happens?  If there are any other tables free, you could politely suggest that they play on one of the open tables.  Otherwise, you will be stuck having to play these guys.  I might suggest that you find a pool hall where you rent tables by the hour.  This way, nobody can bother you at your own table.  Playing at a pool hall vs. a bar is quite different.  I agree, some people take it way too seriously in a bar setting, and this is coming from a licensed pool teacher.  If you have a chance, you should try to improve your own game and then when people challenge you for the table, they won't know what hit them.  Many guys are so insecure that getting beaten by a woman will drive them nuts.  One or two games of you punishing them and they'll hit the road.  Happy shooting.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

no real rule the hormone carriers should know when they are not wanted be nice tell them no thanks a persistant A.hole ask mgnt.to have a few words of wisdom with them  still dont work stand back and let Dallas & Wade Garrett help them to the door  its the way it works in my bar

any young dude will hit on the pretty ladies but no is no and they have to accept that
