Every year people come up with this question, and every year the San Antonio Spurs prove that this question asked before time. But this season is may be the right time to ask the question since the main players in the Spurs roster Tony Parker, Manu Ginobilli
and Tim Duncan are 28, 33 and 34 years old. The main question is not whether they win the NBA title this season or not, but would they make it through to the playoffs healthy?
To the aged squad of the San Antonio Spurs, this season they have added a 7-foot youngster from Brazil, Tiago Splitter. This young and talented player has signed a three-year contract with the Spurs worth $10.5 million. Players like Tim Duncan would feel
relieved from the load they face being the only one in the position.
If George Hill, Blair and Splitter are able to perform to the best of their abilities, the San Antonio Spurs can excel a great deal. Combining these three players with Tony Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobilli would result in one of the most formidable
teams in the NBA. And with the individual game that they have, they can surely be championship contenders. Keeping in mind the fact that Duncan-Tony-Ginobilli trio have their contracts expiring coupled with the injury possibilities, this may very well be the
last chance for the San Antonio Spurs to win a title.
How far will the Oklahoma City Thunders go in the playoffs?
One of the most surprising teams during the course of last season was the Oklahoma City Thunders. Oklahoma City Thunder was able to improve from a 27-game winning team to one of the possible contenders for the title last season.
After making it through to the playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunders gave the Los Angeles Lakers a tough time in the first round. But eventually they were beaten by the Lakers in a six-game series.
However, this season the Thunders have the scoring champion in Kevin Durant on their side. Adding to this is his experience that he gained in the FIBA Championships, which would help further to become one of the elite players in the league. The pivotal role
that Kevin Durant plays in the Oklahoma City, Thunders would still be played by him and the team’s success would depend on it.
The Thunders should be looking to challenge the Los Angeles Lakers in their running for the NBA title this season. Given that other young players like Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Jeff Green are able to perform to the best of their abilities.

scoring championship and two times NBA All-Star MVP. This player has the career of one of the best players in the NBA but just lacks a NBA title.
The cancer-like reputation that Allen Iverson has developed has been the major obstacle in his search for a job this season. This player found it very hard to find a job last season as well, and this season is no different. Many find it amazing that this
player has been offered even a $1 million contract.
Experts say that this season might be very hard for Iverson to find a job, but if he plays in some other league and proves that he can be a team player, he can surely find a job next season if not this.
