Questions about upcoming NBA Season (Part 1)
One of the questions that the NBA is facing is whether or not Kevin Durant would be the best player all-around or not?
Analysts say that this player already has taken the first step in his road to glory. This player has managed to become the youngest scoring champion in the NBA at the age of 21. This player is one of those players, who just loves to play basketball. This
can be seen from the fact that after suffering a crushing defeat from the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers, this player immediately joined the USA team for the FIBA Championships.
The 30 points per game average that this player has managed over the past season clearly shows that Kevin Durant can score a great deal without any doubts. This player’s rebounding was overshadowed by the scoring, though this player led the Thunders in rebounds
with 7.6 rebounds per game. During the course of the FIBA Championships, this player has shown that not only can he be the scorer but he can also be one of the best playmakers in the game. Though currently the title of the best player is held by LeBron James,
if Durant is able to continue and bag performances similar to his FIBA Championship showing, he will surely give James a tough time.
The next question that we come across is the fact that whether or not LeBron James would be able to win multiple titles with the Miami Heat in order to be successful?
Reports say that this might very well be the case due to the fact about what the player himself said. LeBron stressed on the fact he chose Miami over Cavaliers due to the fact that they had the championship winning potential. However, in order for him to
be successful he definitely needs to win multiple titles. Not only should the Heat win multiple titles during the course of the next few seasons but they will be looking for an era of total dominance.
Experts say that with the core that the Heat have it is very well possible that that the Heat would win. But if this is not the case then LeBron would surely be looking to move to another team. This is due to the fact that this team has the potential to
win multiple titles. LeBron would be moving to another team due to the simple fact that he wants to be the greatest player in the NBA which would only come if he wins the NBA titles more often than not.
Another one of the questions facing the NBA is that whether or not LeBron James can win MVP or will it be someone else?
The two times defending MVP award winner would have been the favourite for the title for the third consecutive time had he been in the Cleveland Cavaliers. With his move to the Miami Heat, the stage would be shared among three big stars in the Miami roster
which have weakened his chances of completing a three-peat of the MVP titles.
This effectively means that the race for the MVP award is wide open and anyone can win out of the big names that showed a lot of promise last season. Last year’s scoring champion, Kevin Durant has a very big chance of becoming the MVP this season with the
added performances he bagged during the FIBA Championships. In the race is also one of the best players in the NBA, Kobe Bryant. If he guides the Los Angeles Lakers to another title then surely he can win the MVP award.
The race for the MVP award is wide open and all the players would be trying their level best to win the title which would result in them producing impressive performances.
