Questions are you aloud to fire a slingshot in a neiborhood?

I mean i would only use it for shooting cans,trees, maybe a couple of pests(animals that eat our garden) i mean could someone call the police on me?and also are slingshots considered a weapon.but COULD someone the police sayiing that a 12 year old or 13 year old boy has a slingshot,and is using it in the neigborhood,and could you also give me a exlplanation this question thanks

I really doubt someoe would be that much of a d*ck to call the cops on ya.  I say go for it, even if they do call the cops, there just gonna tell u to stop.
