- How much does a dealer make per year?

- How does the licensing work?

- How old do you have to be?

- Advantages/Disadvantages?

Thanks ahead of time! :D

  1. At least 45 K depends on where you live if you make it to the top at cesars you can make as much as 105k per year depending on tips.  THe top dealers make no less than 82k per year.

You apply for the license with the nevada state gaming commission.  They run a criminal background check including a live scan.  This is only done if you have met the qualifications as a DEALER.

A dealer must always be at least 21 unless they work in a tribal casino then they can be the legal gaming age of 18.

Advantages:  Easy work in poker you winn a little every hand.  In black jack you could be tipped by a lucky whale a weeks salary.  Your income varies is a disadvantage and the over night shift doesnt pay well for tips regularly.  YOu must start at the bottom and it takes up to 3 years to get the higest paying shifts.  THey change you out when you start losing a lot so it stops the tip train.  THe next question is yes you can be promoted.. to other tables .. and eventually pit boss but i dont recommend that job personally. I am from USA i dont know canada.  YOu may you dont sound like you have many options that are any better than this one you better take it until you find some thing better.. By the time you get some thing better you be on top all ready!
