Where can I get a general ID?!

I don't have a drivers licence or anything like that. I need to have a picture ID in particular. I'm trying to apply for a police report to get a job. They want to 2 pieces of ID (one with a picture) for me to get the police report. It's a job at "Canadian tire" nothing big. But I have NO picture ID and I don't have enough money to go for my licence.

So is there anyway I can get a general GENERAL ID anywhere? any government place? how much is it?

Any help would be great!!

Your OHIP card can be one piece.  If you have an older red and white card, you'll need original proof of your Canadian citizenship (Canadian birth certificate/passport), proof of your Ontario residential address (a utility bill, school report card, pay stub etc) and one other piece with your name and signature (credit card, status card etc)  Go to an OHIP office and bring it all in and you can have one piece of photo ID in about 30 days. The cost is already included in your taxes, no up front fee.

If you go to school will your student ID work?  Or liquor commission ID, some places will accept a SIN card, bank card/credit card.  A status card or Metis card can be used for some places for a form of ID too.

I don't really know what you can use but I know that you are not allowed your health card for a police check where I live!

LCBO provides BYID (Bring Your ID) cards for $20 (plus the cost of photos).

do you have a medicare card, or a passport?

if not then you can just go get a bus pass (they take your picture on that) they ask for 2 pieces of ID but its doesn't have to be photo ID

Go get a health card. The new ones have pictures and everyone in canada has to have a health card. I think if you lost your old one it's free to get.
