  1. My prescription is -10 in glasses, -9 in contacts.  I can't read without glasses on unless I hold the book right up to my nose, so yes, I do.

  2. nearsighted means you can see close up so you shoulded need glasses

but i am nearsighted and am suposed to wear my glasses at all time

sometimes i read with them and sometimes without

i have no clue what my perscribtion is

  3. I have an rx of -6.75 in the right and a -5.75 in the left. I have a +1.25 bifocal add and wear progressive lenses. I can see to read and use the computer  plus have clear distance in my glasses. I can also take off my glasses and see REALLY good up close without them. I just can not see well in the distance without them. I also use a multi focal contact lense that works pretty good!

  4. I am nearsighted and I wear glasses when I read because other wise I have to bring the book up to my eyes 2-3 inches away from my nose. Books can smell bad sometimes!

My Rx is -9.50 for contacts. I usually take out my contacts at 8 o'clock at night which is the normal time when I actaully do a lot of reading. I wear my specs that have an Rx of -8.75 for reading. Sometimes I wear my -6 glasses, but it is harder to read with those.
