Questions for religious people?

In most religions there's a punishment for not obeying god, or not believing (eternal h**l, torture, and so on..)

Haven't you ever thought about the kind of punishment you might be getting from a god of a different religion in the after life?

Haven't you considered that the faith you have in your god, might actually be a different god?

have you ever doubted your faith?

im learning about religion in school, and im just wondering.

  1. I am a Muslim and in our religion punishment for not obeying God is burning in h**l and staying all the life there! and I never doubt in God, because lots of big and clergy men have spent all their lives studying about God and I trust them ! Although there are many reasons to understand God in our surronding, but you mustwant to see them in order to find them! the simple example is the harmony that is all  over the universe! this harmony can not happen by itself! and another proof: since this world islimited in time, some of us don't see and fell what we really deserve, bad or good, so there is a need for another world that lasts forever to see the judge of the God!

  2. There is only one true God. All others are false gods. A god or idol is anything that comes between a person and God.I don't worry about punishment from other gods because they're devotion is based on works.  God loves me for who I am.

  3. Any king or lord will make sure that his subjects know what he wants and how to please him.  That knowledge is called the "law".  If you break it, there are consequences.  If you keep it, there are rewards.

Christ is our Lord, sitting on the right hand of God and has all authority given to Him by God in Heaven and on earth.  He has left us a law.  Because He is a loving King and wants us to be good followers of His, He has left us the New Testament or the New Promise.  "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.  If you know me, you know the Father.  There is no way to the Father except through me."

By reading the Bible, we can check to see if it is right and in knowing that it is right (no part of the Bible has ever been successfully disproved) then you can know that you can make God happy in how you follow Him.

  4. Yes, I've thought about that. That's actually a very important part of strengthening your faith. If you just follow the religion you were first introduced to blindly, then chances are your faith will be weak and lukewarm. It takes soul searching and even doubt before one can be truly firm in one's faith.

  5. It's a question that became one of the reasons why i'm an agnostic.

I've always wondered if there is another God that the Xtians, Jews and Muslims worship. For thousands of years our ancestors switched religions one after another because of the Truth. I've always wonder if there will be another God/s or Major Religion in a million years from now.

  6.   I know    that there is a punishment for not obeying GOD  and   who doesnt believe in god will go to the h**l after punishment  but , if  believe in god  and faith   without obeying  you will be punished and after that maybe he will go to heaven

  7. I like this question, thus you have gained a star.

But be warned, you will not get a coherent answer.

  8. Yes this is one reason why I don't think there are gods, or godesses. And do you live in a different country, because I didn't think you could teach relgion in school. Or do you mean church, or a private school.

  9. Peace and blessings be upon you.

There is one God , the God of all religions , we worship him the one and the only.

And as a muslim ,i believe in all the prophets and love all of them as Mohammed ,and try to obey the God and avoid sins ,and always thank the God and ask him for forgiveness .

When people talk and discuss in my religion and see anything in it wrong , it may disturb me but when i search and ask ,i see everything clear and if another thing was instead of that , it will not be right . for this cause i will thank the God forever as i'm muslim.
