I've been getting quite a lot of white discharge lately, and my underwear is covered in it. I wear pantiliners, but still. I haven't had my period yet. What's wrong? Should I go see a doctor?

  1. It's normal. I get that right before I get my period. If it changes into a different colour, then you should see a doctor.

  2. You might be ovulating. But clear discharge is nothing to worry about. If your discharge starts changing colors, and smells thats when you should get to the doctors.

  3. That is your v****a's way of cleaning itself out it is kinda like mucus is to your nose. If it really is bothersome I would suggest seeing a doctor.

  4. That happens sometimes, it's just the way your body has decided to react to hormones.

It's normal, unless it looks like cottage cheese, or smells really bad, or is yellow, or if you itch a lot down there (i know, gross!!!). If it is clear and doesn't smell very much, then it's fine.

  5. I'm a guy and you should know that guys are going to look at this question rather or not you want them to, or vice versa if a guy asked a question for only men to answer. It sounds like a yeast infection or STD. Go get tested just in case.

  6. its normal, get used to it.

some girls/women barely have any discharge, while others have heavy discharge.

it sucks..i think i hate it more than having my period

  7. as long as it does not smell fishy, or you are not itchy, you should be fine. most likely you are ovulating and will getting youre period shortly

  8. you are probably just ovulating but it never hurts to speak to your doctor it could also be an infection

  9. NO

I have exactly the same thing.  It's nothing to be worried about.  I wondered the same thing when I first got it.  ( I thought it was some sort of decease but I've had it for over a year)

    I know how you feel

  10. first, inferno doesn't know what he's talking about lol

It's just cervical mucus, and it's completely normal. As long as it's white or clear and doesn't smell nasty, you're fine! If it's a lot, and it's stretchy and thin like raw eggwhites, then you're probably ovulation. That would explain why there is so much. It will clear up in a couple of days.
