Questions on becoming a prop poker player on line?

How do I become a prop player, playing on line poker? What are the best sites for doing this? Anyone doing it? How does it work?

i dont think you can be a prop online, most sites have enough players and tables to keep games going. i propped for 6 years here in california at one of the bigger casinos and i dont see how propping online would work, like being  a prop at live casinos, where you are instructed to sit and play at certain tables to keep the game going. ou can play 15 minutes in one game and than all of a sudden you have to move to another. Being a prop is one tough gig and your skills should be good at all the games the casino spreads.

For those who do not know what a prop is..... a player who is paid by the house to play in short handed games, casinos make their money on the raked pots, the more tables the more they make. most players do not like to play short handed and the table is likely to break,so props are used to keep games live. props use their own money and money won is theirs to keep,and money lost is their lost money.

Props are paid by shift and the wage depends on how high a limit they are required to play.

sounds like a horrible deal. how much did you get paid? to me, it seems like they have to pay you a lot to make up for the rake you are paying them.

If you're not playing for real money, it's not worth it. Too many kids play on there who go all-in on a garbage hand. But really, just read the book and know some tricks. Don't talk too much, but know what you're doing. Watch out for bad hands/players as well.
