Question:

Questions on golf tickets?

My wife and I are going to the BMW Championship in St. Louis this year. We are purchasing a single day ticket. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on how most courses do parking, and etc. I am assuming the ticket is just to get into the event, and doesn't include parking. I am confused with the whole situation as this is the first golf event we have been to.

  1. When you arrive, you will be directed to a parking area close to the course. In the event there isn't enough space on the premises, arrangements have been made to park elsewhere and transportation will be provided from that site to the course. This is what happens at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, CT.

  2. The parking will be extra.  If you get there early you will be able to park close to the course and walk.  When those lots are filled there will be more parking further away with a shuttle bus to the front gates.

  3. Don't concern yourself with the parking. It doesn't matter what they charge your still gonna pay it caus you've brought the tickets for the golf now, your not gonna give those up just because of parking issues.

    Go and enjoy the day.

  4. You should have received a map of the grounds along with your tickets. Parking is provided right on the grounds and a shuttle service is also provided due to the amount of people attending. Not everyone gets to park up front. Get there early and get better parking.

You may also find some of the local home owners offering parking on their property but beware because they offer no protection and assume no responsibility. Leave nothing in your car no matter where you park.
