Questions on how to sync apps and today screen on treo700w HELP?

Ok i got a treo 700w and i just want to know how to sync applications and today screens. there was a program i wanted on microsoft mobiles site and downloaded a program called photcontact but i dont know how to put it on there... im lost. someone please help. i also need someg ood sites of where i can get some good apps and stuff for the treo for free. thanks alot

It depends on what type program it is

First connect the phone to your computer with activesync.

(1).cab files  use explore on activesync copy them from your computer to the phone.

Use file explorer to find them on your phone

Click on it and it will install it.

(2).exe files open it on your computer and it will install on the phone.

Follow the directions on the phone.

Some .exe files open like .cab files so if it doesn't  

then paste it to the phone like a .cab and see if it will open

(3).tsk files are theme files click activesync explore  then my windows mobile device

paste it in the windows folder.

On the phone

Go to start/ settings/ personal/  today and select it then click ok close.
