Questions on the dish DVR?

When we were going through the tv guide and finding things to record we accidentally chose all episodes instead of once. Now every time an episode of that show comes on it records. I know how to skip the one episode so it will stop it from recording. But how can I stop it from ever recording so I don't even have to skip it everyday.

Sorry if that is so confusing. But your help is greatly apperciated.

with your remote, press the grey dvr button, then my recordings, then schedule, then timers, on this page you can modify or cancel any timer as you please

Highlight one of the shows to be recorded and hit the red record button. It will take you to a menu of 'timers'.  Select the show and choose the "Options" and you should be able to change the settings to only record NEW episodes or delete the timer entirely.
