Questions on upgrading from a Junior to Senior License in New York State?

So I passed my Road Test 1 month ago and I just recieved my Certificate of completion from Drivers Ed, Im 17 and I have a Juniors License (looking to upgrade to a normal license)

1) Must a parent accompany you to the DMV? I live right near it I could just walk as my parents have been busy lately and unable to take me.

2) Will a Senior License be sent to me upon completion of Drivers Ed if I passed my road test and I am 17? or do I have to go upgrade it myself and then have it sent to me.

  1. 1.  If you are a minor, yes.

    2.  You have to be 18.
