So, this has to do with my real life, but I have a question for you guys... what prompted this isn't important, I'm just curious what you guys think. What's the best compliment you can give someone?

And to make this a hockey question... who is the longest-tenured player on your team? (Name the team, player, and how long they've been there)

  1. The best compliment I can give to anyone is to tell Speedk0r that he knows 100,000X  more about Hockey than I know  &  he deserves the 10 points  for his  best answer here.

  2. Well, for a girl, tell them they are beautiful. thats great. better than pretty or hot. or something about their eyes(:

and i have to go with Lidstrom as well. His whole career has been, and obviously will be, with the Wings.

  3. In life?Best compliment is when someone deserves one.If I'm working with females which I do constantly I give the girls compliments when they least expect them.If a girl is all dressed up everyone and there mother will compliment them.Me..I compliment when there not feeling well or having a tough day..I feel thats more meaningful.

My guess for player is Simon Gagne.Since 99-00.

  4. Niklas Lidstrom - Red Wings - 16 years (since '91-'92)

as far as compliment, it depends on the purpose of the compliment. I always hate those condescending "you look beautiful" ones (I'm assuming this is for a female) I think it works better if you say something sincere that is ore relevant to that person. Like how her hair a certain way really compliments her eyes or the shape of her face. Things like that.

Now if you are talking about a guy, can't help you there.

  5. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

    -Charles Caleb Colton

And I think it's Lundqvist... he was acquired in 2000
