  1. Evrybody Here want loads of Stars/Answers When they ask a question....thtzy itz not questioned here..

&the womens cricket isnt developed coz they lack physical strength.(sorry ,but i think itz. true.)..in rare cases u'll find a women diving for a catch as men do..

  2. Women's cricket is just not famous enough, media is running behind the men's cricket team and how can we ever ask a question on Women's cricket if we don't even know the players.

publicity is not in my hands- you better ask it to the media personnels not me

  3. Because some clever person like you has'nt come out with one--until now...

No there was a few a couple of months ago when the Aussie girls and the English girls were having their Ashes matches...

  4. It's a matter of no women actually asking questions related to womens cricket. If someone was to ask such a question i have no doubt that someone would be able to answer

Furthermore topics like the IPL and major cricket series are popular topics which are discussed and all of these are related to mens cricket

  5. Because cricket is men game.

  6. Because Women's cricket, like all Women's sports is treated as a joke by the media. The media is primarily run by male businessmen. Women's sport does not sell TV packages, as it is portrayed as being inferior to men's.

This is totally wrong: women are just as good at sport as men. It may not be as fast, or as powerful, but it is every bit as skillful.

And I would call Bingalee a chauvinist, if I didn't know she is female!

So  there are no questions because the media have ensured that it is not as popular. This is slowly changing: Wisden now lists gamous women players and officials, and pays more regard to their statistics.

And don't worry, we'll get some questions about women's cricket on here. I might ask a few myself, to set the ball rolling.

  7. Because women's cricket, like other women's sports, is totally boring, slow, uninteresting & dull.

  8. Because it's not that popular, it's not on TV, there's barely any coverage anywhere, there isn't much advertising in it and the women cricketers don't have very high profiles, not to mention that it is only recently that some countries have professionalized the women's game. And it's run by a bunch of out of date, stuffy old men who have no idea how to run the men's game let alone the women's.

For these reasons it's incredibly hard to following women's cricket so people just aren't interested in it like they are the men's game (which is everywhere). Also while I think there is a good representation of women here it's still a male dominated board so there aren't going to be many questions about women's cricket especially when there are more popular topics being discussed.

  9. Because Womens cricket isn't popular in India (90% of users in the cricket section are Indian).

Why is it not popular in India??.

It gets no advertising space compared to the men's game, there are hardly any famous women cricket players around the world and womens cricket gets little to no tv time.

I have seen about 10 womens cricket questions since i joined in November!
