My husband and I have an 11 month old son. He's thinking about joining the army. What questions should WE ask the recruiter at his appointment?

ASK THEM WHATEVER YOU WANT, THATS WHY THEY ARE THERE!

i was very lucky to have great recruiters when i entered, and i have some friends that were not so lucky. Either way, dont forget that they are actually there for you, because once those papers are signed there is no turning back because you did not get something promised to you.

also make sure you tell your husband that everything that is promised to him needs to be in that contract before his name is on it in ink. do those things and you will both be fine.

The military has great family benefits (i have 2 kids) and can actually be somewhat family friendly.
