  1. Ask her about her experiance in horses and what barns she has taught at. Ask her if she went to college for horses. Maybe ask her about where she competes and what circuit to judge her experiance. If you can watch her work with and ride her own horse to make sure you agree with her training methods.

  2. ask her things like:

`how long have you been a trainer

`what method do u use (positive reinforcement or heavy discipline)

`if you can use your own horse in lessons

` hope this helps idk thats ll i can think of rite now lol

  3. Good things to ask:

How long has she been riding and training.

What is her show experience, if that is relevant to what you want to do.

What is her overall training philosophy.

You can ask questions, but you will really learn the truth by watching her work with horses and students.  A lot of people have a great schpeal (SP?) but there is a big gap between what they preach and what they practice, so keep your eyes  open, and watch a few lessons  and training sessions, watch her ride, if you haven't already done so.
