Im about to look around for a bike, what are some questions I should ask someone who i may buy it from. I dont wanna get suckered into something

  1. if you dont know enough about bikes to tell, then you need to buy from a dealer with a warr. then all you have to worry about is what fits you right, and not if the bike is sound and in safe condition. be smart !


  2. no your leg cannot be attached once its ripped off by the guy behind you who didnt see you. think long and hard if you really what the could happen out there. If so, then ask about front fork, when it was last serviced and ask for paper work on it and all service done to it. walk away if it was an owner serviced bike. you dont what to lose brakes on the hw. good luck and buy plenty of life insurance.

  3. service history

    check the engine # and frame # as it may be a stolen bike or a written off bike that has been rebirthed

    how many owners has it had

    is it a grey import

    BE CAREFUL....lotsa ripoffs out there


  4. 1) bring a friend or a mechanic with you that is familiar with bikes already

    or

    2) have the seller bring the bike to a Motorcycle repair shop to have a mechanic look it over.
