Questions with ollie and heelflip on skateboard?

I need help with my ollie. i just can't seem to raise my board up... how do i raise it up with a good height.

My heelflips are not good due to it flying away whenever i flick it into flippin. it just flies out of sight.

Landing is also a problem for these two tricks for me.

Any tips and help?

  1. the easiest way to take an Ollie is to kick at the skateboard in the air. it sounds weird but it works. when i heard this for the first time id think that the skateboard will fly away forward but it doesn't. try to do it many times and the Ollie will become higher and for the heel flip is that the clue is to Ollie at least an half meter before you try on that stuff. trust me. Ive tried.

  2. well for the ollie once you pop you gotta suck your knees and feet up to your stomach to get higher.

i have the same heelflip problem as well

  3. Ollie's are all about practice, practice, practice.  You need to know the basics, then practice everyday and practice moving and going over small things at first, then build your way up to larger objects.

Basics of the Ollie:  Start out with your back foot toward the end of the tail.  Your front foot is going to be below the front bolts in the center of the board (The key to 'landing' your tricks is to stay centered over your board).  'Pop' the tail with your back foot, while simultaneously sliding your front foot to the nose of your board  and jumping off your back foot.

Have you tried kickflips instead of heelflips?  To help with your heelflips I would say stay centered over your board, pop your tail and kick down and out instead of straight up like your ollie.  Make sure you kick your foot far enough to clear the end of the board then bring it back on top and ride away

  4. u need to pop it harder u ned to also jump and slide ur foot up.........as for heelflips dont kick it in front of u kick it so it lands under you.
