Quick, Easy, Healthy Snack?

Hi. I would like some recipes for healthy snacks that I can make using simple ingredients I already have at home. I would like a snack that can be made within 45 minutes and is not plain and bland. I want something different and exciting. Please help!

  1. I have a few that are really good!! Or atleast I think they are.

    Slice a tomato and put it on a grill with swiss cheese on it until the cheese melts. If you want it to be a little spicy use pepperjack cheese. When I say grill I mean the George Foreman inside hamburger type grill not ones that are for outside bar-b-ques.

    Take a flour tortia and put butter on one side and place that side down on either a griddle or in a pan. (I have an interchangeable stove top so I use the griddle...I think it comes out better) Then put any types of cheese on it and let it melt a little. Fold it in half and let it cook a little more while flipping it over atleast once or twice. Add some sour cream and/or salsa and you have a homemade quesadilla.

    Both these take under 15 minutes and aren't to unhealthy.


  2. PIZZA TOAST

    Bread-toast it

    tomato puree 1 tspn spread on 1 side

    chese on top of tomato puree toast

    Any topping you want

    sprinkle with mixed herbs

    grill till cheese all bubbly

  3. Fried rice, its very healthy with any kind of vegetables you like, and also you can add meat of all sorts as well as seafood. And you can freeze this in containers for when you would like it. If you are unsure how to cook it, you can go to your-tube and watch lots of videos..
