her eyes are popped out so far it lookes loike they're gonna explode.

could this be mixy? I CANT LET HER DIE :(

I am 12 and i have seen 6 rabbits die with me,but my baby(this rabbit) has been with me for soo long it didnt seem possible for her to die so strange :(

I gave her the normal food last night- romaine lettuce, two carrots, a banana and a bowl of rabbit food.

she recently had babies so that fed her and all 4 babies.

The babies are 12weeks old and are still suckling, could it be that my baby is too tired to feed them?

Please help quick. WHAT DO I DO? should i go to the vet?

I predict that he will charge me money for nothing!

  1. it doesnt sound right to me

the rabbit shouldnt be still feeding the babys now

you need to separate them male and female b4 they start mating with each other

i had a rabbit for 8 years and never fed it bananas. apples r ok as a treat

have you been to the vet and had its innoculations 4 mixy?

i would take her to the vets just incase we cant see her so we cant be sure

  2. WHAT HER EYE IS GONNA EXPLODE?

if i had time to ask dat question ;id be in the vet by now..

but first ask yhur parents if they know whats happening

maybe the rabbbit is to tired now.

    try to let her sleep

  3. Glad the vet know what was wrong.

She should recover just fine, my brothers cat had a calcium defficency cos she became pregnant while nursing young, she started fitteng, but after some treatment she is fine (and neutered).

My rabbit didnt wean here babies herself either, we had to seperate them at 5 1/2 weeks.

Your babies are oldenough to go to new homes if your not planning on keeping them all. I was going to keep a girl from my litter but they were all males.

  4. she might be tired or had  a shock if i was u i would take her to the vets

  5. If your bunnie's eyes have swollen. chances are that it is Mixy. As this is VERY contagious, i would get to the vet just to check, you don't want the babies getting the disease!

Check for discharge coming from the nose, and also heavy breathing as well as swelling around the belly.

Wouldn't you rather pay to make sure your rabbit is ok than let her suffer?

    best of luck xx

  6. Phew! I am so glad that your rabbit is fine~
