How many licks does it take to get to the middle of a tootsie roll pop - they say the world may never know but with all the resources here on answers I think we can do it.

There is no quick answer to this one cause first we have to go out and buy one then not eat it till we get home and then unwrap it and then l**k and l**k till we ...well you know,At the same time count 1...2...3...4...5 Yada Yada Yada

Quick, run down to the store and buy one.  Come back home, tear off the wrapper and start the count one l**k at a time.  I'm counting on you to come up with the correct answer.  You might need a buddy to help you keep count of those licks though.  Only 'licks' should count.  None of this rolling it around in your mouth stuff.  No biting into it.  That doesn't count!  Do it right!  Just take it one l**k at a time.  Then report back here so we will all know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.  BTW, you should pick out your favorite tootsie pop for this because you'll be more apt to finish the assignment.  Good luck.
