Quick Science Question : Good HEat INSULATORS! PLEASE HELP!!!?

Ok, I have a project on which I have to fill a box with good heat insulators and I was wondering what are some good heat insulators so if I were to put water in a shoebox for example the heat would be trapped in. Please post if you know!!!!

Air space is a good heat insulator. That is why we use fiberglass insulation , to take up space. That is the reasoning behind cable knits, waffle knit long johns, birds fluffing their feathers. Strofoam is a foam holding air spaces.

A thermos works by the inside being shiny to reflect heat waves back, having a good top to prevent heat leaving by convection and an air space between the inside and outside to prevent heat leaving by conduction.

Use a shiny cup with a good cover and styrofoam peanuts packed around to take up the air space.
