ok, im in the 8th grade, my teacher made me answer a question for homework

why should i start studying about careers even though im in the 8th grade. EASY 10 POINTS

It is never too early to start thinking about a career...in the 8th grade its your last year of middle school and we all know high school goes by so quickly

Write that you need to start thinking about your future because you need to know what kind of careers and classes you would like to pursue in the future. And say it is also smart to do research on it so you can be prepared when you leave school.

cuz you are going to get bored sitting on the computer all afternoon and will need something else to do...really - you need to find out what interests you and have time to look around at all the possibilities before you get out into the world...smart teacher!

Thinking about it now will help you know what to focus on in high school, whether you go college prep or vocational-technical school, etc.  Making the right choices in high school will prepare you for what comes after that, and you can think of it as free training, as opposed to college or trade school, which you *will* have to pay for.

you have a future.  dont waste it.  choose to be a productive and contributing member of society, and make money doing it.  that is why you need to start thinking about a career now

Because your career is for most of the REST of your life. You should be happy with whatever you choose, because it's gonna be for a long time.(unless fired or quit)
