Who is most likely going to score more points?

Jerricho Cotchery or Chris Chambers?

Favre seems to prefer Cotchery, and he's the healthiest WR going on that team. Brett still likes the TE in the red zone, but Cotchery seems able to pull off those long TDs that Favre is famous for. Factor in that he has Coles opposite him and he will have a lot of single coverage.

It's not really a knock on Chambers. He could very well have a huge season. But with Rivers hurt, a tough schedule, a run-first philosophy and Antonio Gates...let me ask you a question. When you close your eyes, can you imagine a 3rd and 8 on Favre's own 28 and he gets Cotchery on a slant that he turns upfield, outrunning the safety and scoring a TD?

Now imagine it with Rivers and Chambers. I see him look off the safety by checking down on Chambers (which is a veteran move), thereby freeing up the safety on Gates. And he hits Gates for short gain since Gates isn't a breakaway.

Really, that's the difference between a guy like Favre and everyone else. When the chips are down, he looks for the guy who can break it. Rivers looks for his safety valve. He's looking for the 1st down, LT or Gates.

My brain and my gut tell me Cotchery. In fact, if I may be so bold, I think that by week 6 he will not only be Favre's #1 target, but he'll be ranked over Coles in the progression.

I like them both....Im guessing Chambers.

Farve will spread the ball around more, Jones, Bubba, Cotchery, and the other guys will get them equally.

And Gates appears to be slowing down.
