I need quick and easy makeup tips. School is coming and I want to look more attractive. I dont want to have to take an hour to put makeup on. Something thats 15 minutes or less if possible. I NEVER use makeup so this is my first time.

I have blonde hair and brown eyes. Pale skin.

**Any good starting out makeup?**

**What would make me look really pretty without over doing it?**

**Do I really need mascara?**

**Colors to use?**

Thank you soo much! This would help alot! :)

  1. For your face use a mineral foundation, it's very sheer and looks natural. I use physicians formula Mineral Wear, it will be at any drugstore. Also ALWAYS wear blush a very natural color on the apples of your cheeks (make a big cheesy smile and put the blush on the balls of your cheeks). Blush will make you look healthy and happy.

As far as eyes go, you don't need to have mascara. If you don't like it, it won't matter at all. If you have blonde hair and brown eyes I would suggest using lighter browns and neutral pinks. Put the lightest color from your lash to your brow (don't put too much on). This will make your eye appear more open. Put a soft brown on your lid and if you want you can put a darker color in the outer corner of your eye and halfway on the lower lash. Good luck sweets

  2. I'm a heck of alot older than you, and I use liquid foundation.  I would think you could get a way with powder and if you use liquid, use it lightly by putting it on, smooth all the way down to your collar bone also.  Use a tint alittle darker than your normal tone - it will add color.

I would also use light browns, as they look natural.  I use a slim brush with eyeshadow to line my eyes (no sharp lines) and smudge really well.  And yes, mascara is one of three things I would take to a deserted island.  Always curl your lashes, and always put mascara on the top and bottom.  I use a makeup sponge to blend my eye shadow, as that is what it is - EYE - SHADOW.  It should give you the soft look and easy steps you're looking for and I think your mom would approve.

    So here is my suggestions:

Start with maybelline; they've been around for years.

Always use a moisturizer under your makeup.

Always use foundation; either liquid or powder.

To "set" your makeup, lightly dust with pressed powder.

Use eyeshadow to line your eyes, and always blend your eyeshadow.

Lips - use lip gloss only at your age, with a tint of color.

Just a little blush to shape your face.

And always, always wash your face each night, moisturize morning and night and do a facial (wash off clay) once a week to keep your pores clear.

Good luck!  Oh and kudos for confirming with your mom what looks best.

  3. -Start our by using a tinted moisturizer all over your face, blending into your neck.  If you don't have a tinted moisturizer, find a foundation that matches your skin and mix a drop of it with a blob of face moisturizer.  You can apply it with your fingers or with a sponge.

-Next, use a concealer to cover any dark circles, pimples, or discolorations (if needed).

-Use a big, fluffy brush to dust a light veil of transluscent powder all over your face.

-Use a sheer shimmer on your lids.  I reccomend just using your fingers to dab some on your lids and then blend up and out.

-Use a white shadow with a bit of shimmer on your browbones (right underneath your brows.)  You can also use this color on the inner corners of your eyes to look more awake.

-Curl you lashes and apply a thin coat of mascara.  I like LashBlast from CoverGirl.

-Use a rosy-pink blush on your cheeks, the bridge of your nose, your chin, and on the top of your forehead.  Don't use a lot and blend well.

-Finally, sweep on a sheer lipgloss or balm and you're ready to go!

  4. I would start with concealer to hide blemishes or red spots. Its also great for covering dark circles or bags. Apply it with either a brush, sponge, or just your finger. Well your mom is right. Brown is too dark for your skin tone. I would use like a nice peachy color and apply on your lid. You should definitely use mascara. Go natural and use clear or brown mascara. Black mascara works fine as well.

Apply some nice peachy pink blush on the apple of your cheeks. Smile and apply it this way. Lastly, lip gloss. Before you apply lip gloss, apply lip balm or chapstick if your lip gloss seems to dry out your lips. Finish with some powder to reduse shine or oil from your face. And you are done! This should take you 10 minutes or less.

  5. Mascara, in my opinion, is a must have. Try getting a soft black, it will make your eyes look a whole lot bigger.

When you use mascara, get a little eyelash comb to get rid of clumps.

My best advice is just don't cake it on. Use about 1-2 coats of mascara, a TINY bit of pencil eyeliner, and a slick of pink lipgloss, and that makes you look really good.
