  1. 8 ball

  2. Wow...just wanted to comment on all the 8-ball answers...I thought this question was kind of silly, but now I realize it wasn't. Good job.

p.s. Surprised there were no rotation answers, too.

  3. Dont gotta research just read Eight Breakers answer

  4. PLaying let's say up to a hundred, the one guy breaks and then continues to shoot, until he misses, the balls are reracked when there is one ball left on the table, and the Qball.

The player hits that ball hoping to make that ball, and break the others so he will have more shots. He continues to shoot  until he misses then it's the other player's shot.

The first player to reach 100 is the winner

EDIT-I have played the game from up to 50,100, 150.

Everyone else has always played it up to 150?

  5. You Rack all the balls except the cue/white ball into a triangle normally alternating stripes & solids so no too of the same is touching (try to anyway) 1 person breaks - this is where you take a pool stick, Aim, & shoot at the triangle to get a ball in then you take turns shooting for your balls to go into the pockets (all the solids or all the stripes) until you miss then it is the other person's turn same as above! Then you call where the 8 ball is going to a certain pocket to win the game If you make it in that is!  I also like 9 ball too!

  6. A hetero sexual going for a swim?

  7. Eight ball.  Triangular shaped break, solids vs. stripes, be the first to sink the 8 ball after knocking all of your other balls in.

    Etc.

  8. Kevin and Eightbraker nailed it.  I know that a lot of people think that it's some variation on the rules of 8-ball.  Is 14.1 your favorite game?  Excellent choice if it is.  I'm with you buddy.  Why do you think I chose "straight shooter"?  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  9. You rack up 15 balls then you shoot in as many as you can. Limit is up to 50.

  10. 14.1 straight pool, start with a rack of 15 ,shoot down to last object ball and the cue ball left on the table, rerack the 14 balls and go from there. each ball legally pocketed counts for a point , usually play to 150. Thats a basic outline of straight pool. One of my favorite games. A lot of people don't know about straight pool because all they play on are bar tables usually 8 or 9 ball. Fact is that back in the day straight pool was the most played game and was almost always the game of choice for tournaments , both amature and pro alike.Thats what I suppose your talking about but seeing how the answer is in your mind I guess you can always change it if you like , lol.

  11. 14:1 continuous

    Luck

    K

  12. don't know much about pool...i would think you were saying just a basic game of pool...or, something to do with a "straight shot."

  13. 14.1 continuous of course. This isn't a difficult question for the old timers and serious players. You did out a few pretenders (not contenders) though ;)
