  1. YOU ARE TOO YOUNG. PILLS ARE DANGEROUS ON A LONG TERM

  2. I'm 15, and I'm on the pill. I started because I was starting to get some bad acne... it runs in my family. For a month before I started, I was only on topical treatments because I wasn't sure how to begin taking them. They did an alright job. But a few weeks after I started the pill, I was glad I did. My bad acne is... gone. There are still spots of course, but they're not pimples... I think they are scars from the more cystic acne I had. I still get the odd pimple - there's nothing you can do about that.

I suggest that you try the pill. I had absolutely no bad side effects, but I can't guarantee the same for you. If you've tried everything else, why not try this too :] Just a warning... your body might not like it. If you do end up taking it, take it just before you sleep. Good luck.

  3. There are pros and cons to everything including taking the pill at your age.  I went on the pill at 15...that was 20 years ago.  I haven't had any problems related to taking the pill for that long.  Of course it may affect you differently as all medication has that tendency.  Do a lot of research and then make an informed decision.  Better be on the pill then pregnant at a young age.  I'm not saying that you are sexually active by the way...but it doesn't hurt to be on the pill when and if the time comes.  Hope this helps!!!

  4. I went on birth control when I was 16. It did really well for me till I went off of it. I am now 19 and I haven't been on birth control for a year. The problem is I also haven't had a period in over a year. I would advise you not to go on it till your older.

  5. Personally, I had a really bad experience with birth control and ended up getting really bad side effects (BAD acne, terrible cramps, light bleeding for almost 4 weeks!,and really bad mood swings as well)

    Basically, my body hated it.

You're young..I'd suggest just giving it some time before you get on the pill. Try talking to your doctor about it first.
